One Xetra®, one region, four markets.
We are already working intensely on the implementation of Xetra
® as a common trading system across the members of the CEE Stock Exchange Group
(CEESEG):
- Vienna
- Budapest
- Ljubljana
- Prague
A uniform trading system will facilitate access to the four stock exchanges for existing and potential members and, moreover, it will reduce the costs of connection and training for trading members.
Xetra ® has already been in use on the Vienna Stock Exchange since 1999. The further implementation plan is as follows:
- Ljubljana Stock Exchange: Xetra ® to go live in autumn 2010
- Budapest Stock Exchange: Xetra ® to be implemented in 2011
- Prague Stock Exchange: Xetra ® implementation scheduled for 2011
Over the medium to the long term, the goal is also to harmonize
- the market segments,
- the general terms and conditions of business as well as
- clearing and settlement processes.
Our vision is to enable members to trade on all markets through the same system and at the same conditions.
