Four markets from one source
The four member exchanges of the CEE Stock Exchange Group (CEESEG) jointly account for around
- half of total market capitalization and some
- two thirds of all equity trading volumes
in Central and Eastern Europe. This makes CEESEG the largest player of all stock exchanges in the region.
The Group offers single-point access to information on four attractive markets with long-term high growth potential:
- Vienna
- Budapest
- Ljubljana
- Prague
Already, the companies listed on the four stock exchanges started to present themselves to an international audience of investors at all major financial centers of the world. Joint road shows held at international financial market places provide institutional investors with the opportunity to meet with the top management of the companies listed on the four member exchanges of the Group.
Investors also profit from:
- Product innovations, e.g. the launch of joint indices: The CEETX and the CEESEG Composite Index, both launched in September 2009, provide new and interesting investment opportunities into the companies listed on the member exchanges of CEESEG.
- Standardization of market segments: This is a medium-term project that will make orientation easier.
Moreover, investors will indirectly benefit from measures aimed at other groups of stakeholders, e.g.
- Data vendors: Worldwide dissemination and availability of data of the member exchanges of CEESEG puts the four markets into the focus of investors, keeps them up-to-date on current prices and thus facilitates the obtainment of information.
- Trading members: The implementation of Xetra ® as a uniform trading system across the Group opens access to four attractive markets through the same system.
