’Value-hunting’ in the Region Conference
Small and Midcap conference organised by the Budapest Stock Exchange in co-operation with KBC Securities Hungarian Branch Office as co-organiser drew a large audience on Thursday, 11 October.
The event provided the possibility of informal meeting for issuers, companies preparing to be listed on the stock exchange and domestic investment fund managers.
The event was opened by Zsolt Katona, CEO of the Budapest Stock Exchange and Eddy D’Hertoge, CEO of the KBC Securities Hungarian Branch Office. After the opening ceremony Péter Szentirmai, Analyst of KBC Securities provided an overview of Hungarian Small and MidCap enterprises.
On the conference János Szuda, CEO of the FHB Nyrt.; László Csány, Investor Relation Officer of the EGIS Nyrt.; Dr. Ottó Csurgó, CEO of the CIG Pannónia Life Insurance Nyrt.; Dénes Gyimóthy, CEO of PannErgy Nyrt.; Gábor Zsámboki, CEO of Állami Nyomda Nyrt. (State Printing House); Jutasi Zoltán, CEO of Synergon Nyrt;, Kovács Domonkos, CIO of ALTEO Nyrt.; Balázs Ács, Vice President of the Board of Directors of Masterplast Nyrt.; Balázs Faluvégi, Member of the Board of ALTERA Nyrt. held introductory lectures on actual processes and goals settled that regard investors.
Representatives of the invited external companies from the CEE region, Zoran Janko, Member of the Board of the Telekom Slovenije Group and Brane Kastelec, Director of Finance of the KRKA, d.d., Novo mesto, held introductory lectures in the event.
Péter Császár, Analyst of the KBC Securities N.V. Polish Branch informed the audience about the regional energy and oil companies.
Parallel with lectures of company managers 24 private meetings were held between the issuers and the seven institutional investors.
