London: Road show and two events for data vendors and trading members
On 14 and 15 September 2009, the Vienna Stock Exchange held three events in London for diverse target groups from the international financial community. The kick-off took place on 14 September with a presentation for data vendors jointly with the Bucharest Stock Exchange. The two stock exchanges gave the audience an update on their financial markets. The Vienna Stock Exchange also informed on the numerous cooperation projects in Central and Eastern Europe, and presented its extensive range of data products that now comprises seven markets in the CEE region: Vienna, Budapest, Ljbubliana, Prague (as of autumn 2009), Banja Luka, Bucharest and Sarajevo. Some 20 data vendors enjoyed the presentations by the management board members of the Vienna Stock Exchange and the Bucharest Stock Exchange, Michael Buhl und Anca Dumitru.
The following day, on 15 September 2009, the Vienna Stock Exchange started its road shows of the second half year with the London conference co-hosted by UniCredit at the Courthouse Hotel. The top management and IR officers of 10 companies presented their financial data and business strategies to institutional investors. More than 40 one-on-ones and small group meetings with 24 fund managers were held. Participating companies: Austrian Post, bwin, CA Immo, conwert, Palfinger, Semperit, Strabag, Vienna Insurance Group, Vienna International Aiport, Warimpex.
Also on 15 September, a social event was held for trading members of the Vienna Stock Exchange.
