Back to the Floor - Open trading day in the former Stock Exchange Hall was a great success

The Budapest Stock Exchange moved back to its former stock exchange building for one day and organized the exciting event "Back to the Floor" to celebrate the 22nd anniversary of the re-opening of the Hungarian exchange.

Minister Mihály Varga opened the trading day by ringing the stock exchange bell. Investment service providers took part in trading via 20 trading workstations on the trading floor and demonstrated how exchange trading works today and what goes on inside a brokerage house.

The highlight was the open outcry trading session. Investors and visitors interested in stock exchange trading were able to experience the exciting and spectacular world of securities trading live. Open outcry trading, which lasted two hours, took place in a simulated market environment, but reflected reality as closely as possible by using real shares and prices.
